Burning Man - Art in the Desert
Once a year, tens of thousands of people gather in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert to create Black Rock City, a temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance. In this crucible of creativity, all are welcome. This book is a compilation of photographs taken through the lens of A. Leo Nash. The project was completed for Abrams.
Interior Layout Design
At the completion of each Burning Man, the main statue and other art installations are burned. The book is designed to the scaled dimensions of a box of matches. The cover photography depicts sculptural elements and matchsticks covered in ash and dirt of the Nevada desert.
