The logo took inspiration from the knight - a chess piece with unique movement, requiring players to have a vision for the future and an ability to think multiple steps ahead. Its shape nodded to St. Louis' reputation as the chess capital of the world, while it's small details celebrated the heritage of the city. The hilt of a sword could be seen in the face of the night, representing not only the iconic bronze statue of King Louis IX in Forest Park, but the region's active charge forward.

Using the established brand identity as a guide, a three piece brand book was created for employees. The first book showcased the bank's new core values, as well as it's community-driven mission. The second book detailed company policies and the third book provided space for employees to make notes, doodle and just be creative.

The website brought the story of Saint Louis Bank to life, as well as their commitment to the region. With new brand colors, reactive scrolling and an icon system unique to the bank, customers could have a digital experience felt as personal as walking into any of Saint Louis Bank's multiple locations.
